Juniper Networks (NYSE : JNPR) announced today that it is offering a library of Day One how-to books that provide easy to understand explanations with step-by-step instructions for the configuration and management of a range of Juniper Networks products. Designed to help customers unlock the simplicity, security and automation benefits of the new network, the guides cover a variety of topics and are available in several different formats.
Currently available topics in the Day One library include the fundamentals of the Junos® operating system, including Junos automation, as well as the basics of fabric and switching technologies, services gateways and advanced networking technologies. The guides provide a useful reference tool for the configuration of Juniper Networks® Universal WAN solution, which include the MX Series 3D Universal Edge Router and the SRX Series Services Gateway that enable complete branch connectivity in less than 10 minutes. The Day One books also include guides on such topics as configuring MPLS, MBGP multicast VPNs and IPv6 as well as migrating to OSPF for Juniper Networks routers. Additional titles will be added on an ongoing basis.

The Day One book series are available for free download in PDF format at www.juniper.net/dayone. Select titles also feature a copy and paste editor for direct placement of Junos configurations. Titles are available in eBook format for iPads and iPhones from the Apple iBookstore. The titles are also available for download to Kindles, Androids, BlackBerry, Macs and PCs by visiting the Kindle Store. In addition, print copies are available for sale from Amazon or Vervante.
