Juniper has major announcement, likely Project Stratus components, set for Feb. 23 in SF

Juniper has a major data center announcement slated for Feb. 23 in San Francisco. We believe it's the long awaited product roll out from the two-year-old Stratus Project.
Stratus is an attempt by Juniper, along with partner IBM, to create a flat, highly scalable switching fabric for data centers and cloud computing environments. It is designed to take data center architectures from three tiers, down to two and ultimately one, and to encompass new and enhanced switches and routers from the company.
A key enhancement to Stratus-ize existing switches and routers will be to extend Juniper Virtual Chassis technology across them, company officials have said. Virtual Chassis allows several switches to be logically combined into one virtual switch which appears to be at the core of Stratus' flattening capability.
Anyway, the event is taking place at the W Hotel, 181 Third Street, San Francisco, at 10:15 AM. It will be hosted by CEO Kevin Johnson, CTO and Founder Pradeep Sindhu, and Executive Vice President David Yen. Customers and partners will also be on hand.
