Huawei launches Global Network & Evolution Centre

Global information communications technology (ICT) services provider, Huawei has announced the launch of its first Global Network Evolution & Experience Centre (GNEEC). The GNEEC was specifically designed and developed to managed the challenges that operators encounter during the network evolution process. The GNEEC helps operators select the optimum network evolution offering that will meet the increasing demands of subscribers while minimising financial risks and generating higher return on investment. The GNEEC covers an area of 1,500 square metres and is equipped with an array of multi-generation E2E network systems with more than 200 sets of equipment supplied by eight mainstream vendors with specialties in all domains of the network infrastructure. Multi-vendor interoperability tests can be performed on over 30 kinds of network evolution plans, while independent testing and professional services areas can be configured to ensure the GNEEC can simulate and support all major evolution processes deployed in global markets.
